PERPETUAL MOTION
Perpetual Motion is a cosmic horror short film using hybrid techniques (but mostly 3D) that I wrote as a final project for my Bachelor's Degree in Animation Cinema in partnership with my colleague Alice Gastaldon. It is currently being distributed on a closed festival circuit.
I worked as director, concept artist, animatic animator and animator senior.
Synopsis: Eugene is a frustrated writer who is reduced to a mere janitor at the library he always dreamed of working at. Overcome by hatred for his failures, he ends up fascinated by a mysterious book that promises to grant his wishes with the simple recitation of a few verses.
